As soon as I installed VDJ, I went to scan the D drive, the scan went well for a few moments... then the a folder became the A.\ then it was A.\.\ then A.\.\.\ and so on ad infinate...
all the files on the drive did not get scanned...
I had to stop the scan after a few minutes.
In fact, it reports the same tracks in A, then again in A.\ then again in A.\.\ so it's just reporting the exact same tracks over and over again... and of course, it will only play the tracks that are actually located in the original proper directory. I tried deleting the database files, and try to search the hard drive all over again, but the same result. It's a 120 gig drive with 26 directories, (a,b,c... z) containing about 19,700 files. NTFS file system.

I have also scanned and found that the path to the music is something like C:\atomix\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\

When I select the v-scratch or v-control I get video errors....Then I cannot calibrate whatever it is that the function does.

Probably my pc cause its only 850 mhz with 512 ram but after I hit play the song starts to play slow for a second then speeds to normal. Looks as thought the needle moving to the record is when it is slow.

When right clicking on the effects on the effects page the effect doesn't engage until you let go of the the right click. Shouldn't it start as soon as you right click.

If you reset the pitch yourself then choose to shut of beatlock it sets the track back to the modified bpm (matching the other track) should just shut off if you reset the pitch yourself.

I am not sure what its doing but I have the same problem as Rick I let it search for tracks for 5 mins and it reported over 74,000 I only have 10,000+. It would probably report more if I let it go longer.

As always you can expect alot of input from me :) I have noticed that 1. My shortcuts for set and goto cue do nothing. 2. By default in my opinion left should be to speed the track up and right to slow it down inthe shortcuts it is opposite.

Made it crash. While loading a track and playing a track I started scratching using the record to the one it was analyzing and it closed. Also crashed when selecting "set as home folder".

Sometimes when you drop a track in it doesn't do the full scan it just does it quick....then drop the same song in again and it does the full scan.

Crashed it while switching options in options section. To be precise it crashed when I changed it from stretch on to off......

About the 3 last messages:
- The "normal" pitch (not stretched) is not coded yet, so it'll crash each time you try to scratch when the stretch mode is disabled. Btw, it's a good way to test the new recover feature :)
- The automix has been really improved and is fully automatic. That means you don't have to define start or end cue point, because the automix finds itself the better way to mix.
- The sound configuration is not coded yet. It'll be added soon.

So why do I get an error message when trying to adjust v scratch or v control. I get a video error. Also the shortcuts are not all working. For example the cues on the keyboard.

Oh boy... I don't think so on the start and end point...
After I mixed for a while, I set up a play list to just let it log some hours... songs were getting cut off at the end and more than once, they started in the middle or beyond. I think I need the setting of start point, "beginning", and end point "end".

I got it... Home, you have to have a camera hooked up to your computer to use the v-scratch or the v-control. It's actually pretty cool!
Can't say for sure if I'll use it, but with some serious trial and error, I can see where this function will be pretty slick.
