i am looking at buying one of the two software packages. i have trial versions of both, they look pretty much the same, maybe they are....??? if not can anyone recommend which one.

I would go for VDj if I were you.
IF you have a P4 with enough Ram....
Because:The Soundquality and it is a new program with more to come with upgrades and stuff (I think?).
