Topic: Stop changing system master volume control?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

How do you get it to stop changing the system master volume control? Every time I start atomix, it resets the master volume control for everything on my system to full volume. It's damaging my speakers!

My neighbors will be very happy for a resolution to this problem.

I'm using a Soundblaster Audigy 2 sound card.

enable Multi instance in the options panel
