Running V2.0 on a P4 laptop, XP, 256 Ram, No background Apps, Full power...
start extended analysis and about five minutes into it computer powers down by itself very suddenly... no screensaver or power saving factors here... help?

I have had this problem....Sounds like a hard disk failure. Do a scandisk on the drive.

It sounds like it's going into the sleep mode. Go into your control panel, and check your power options. Make sure everythings set to "NEVER".

Have done scandisk also defrag... machine not going to sleep...power settings are set to never shutdown or standby any services...
the laptop is functioning perfectly in all other senses... (e.g musicmatch can play for hours on end unattended) but when atomix is operating the laptop just powers down unexpectedly at apparently random times. I am using an extigy sound card for monitor out but amn't sure if thats an issue (it never was before in 12 months usage)
