Topic: Herc DJ Console Alternatives for beginner

Was keen on the Hercules DJ Console but concerned about reliability and latency issues all the way out here in Korea with no hardware tech support. What are the hardware alternatives for a starter-upper? Using a laptop P4 1.8 Ghz 256MB; Audigy NX external soundcard on its way; Rio Karma 20GB portable hard-drive for storage purposes. Cheers.

btw the dj gear is for home-mixing and local (read small club) play so a budget mixer would suffice...

yeh, yeh the mouse... BUT I mean tangible hardyware such as a budget preferably 3-channel mixer with kills... anyone?

it would be nice to access each turntable (play function) with a seperate keystroke. does this work?

DJ Yance : headphone isn't availlable with DJ Mixstation2. You must to have full version of VDJ to use it.
