so i just installed a second soundcard , and the settings stick in atomix , but no matter which ones i choose i can't actually preview the music through the headphones - nothing comes through . Both soundcards are plug'n'play and i checked my computer to see if there were any conflicts ... none , and both devices are working properly .
Can you please tell me what i need to do to make the headphones work ?

okay , now i got the headphones working but i can only preview the song that's on the right side of the deck ... what do i do to have them both play in the headphones ?

You need to have the full version of Atomixmp3 inorder to use the headphones. As you can not change the sound confg. setting, it is disabled in the demo version.

which skin are you using?
not all skins have a "preview" slider, i use the denon skin which has a slider!

Just about to buy the full version.
I have a Dell laptop and sure enough I cant put any sound card in it. For headphones and a 2nd sound card, what are the best hardware options in your experience? Small USB devices like Sonica?

A single output usb device works fine for me. It's a Telex, and it was 50 bucks.
