Topic: messed up sound

My sound is lagging...it works fine when i click it in hardware mix mode but othwerwise it lagging a bit...using sound blaster live 5.1

Ensure you are using the most up-to-date drivers from Creative Labs. Don't use the default Windows drivers for this card.
 
get version 2.1 as there is no hardware mix mode which tells me you got 2.0
