Hey,

I see how theres an option to use an external mixer with AtomixMP3... is the DM2 Digital Music Maker (www.mydm2.com) compatible as an external mixer?

You don't need a specific configuration... only a 3D sound card or 2 sound cards to have 2 outputs (plug them like if they were turntables)
 
You need atomix full version if you want to have cue of the next song.
 
No the DM2 is not compatible with atomix, since it's not a mixer but a sequencer (even if it's been marketed as a mixer)
