cimat
When I record a mixed wav file- it only plays back from one speaker (on my pc, and when I played it on a regular audio cd player).
Why is this? Does the program record in left and right channels? Is there a system setting I should change?

I think you have configured your system to use a 3d card, that means that the output (also the mix you have recorded) is played tru 1 channel (only left or right) so if you do a mix, do not use the 3d conf. One option to resolve this problem is to edit the wav file with an editor and convert it to a mono file,...
