I am using mp3 files at 128bps or above. When played through winamp they sound great. When played through atomixmp3, I hear a static/hissing/clipping sound (especially at the quieter spots in trance/techno music.) This really effects the quality of the sound. Especially the high ends.
What I have done to try to resolve the problem: Turn off master tempo, turn off auto level. Run in both Win2000 and WinME with directx 8. Tried several different mp3 files.
I have the soundblaster Live card (with updated drivers). I only hear this sound using atomixmp3. It also records this sound when I'm recording my mixes. Is there any way to fix this? Does atomixmp3 downsample even with master tempo turned off? Also, I've read that I should have auto reset turned on but I don't want the tempo to change in my mix. I want to have full control over any tempo changes.
Thanks!!

If you use a crack, reinstall AtomixMP3 without it and the problem should be gone.
