hi i would like for atomix to come up with a program that you can use to convert the wave file after you record it to an mp3 file that would be very nice

There are many other programs to do this. Look at download.com!

winamp can do that with proper plugin.

It would be nice for it to also play .wavs, so I can play cds on it.

You are kidding, ATOMIXWMP3 PLAYS .WAV FILES!!! But not cda files, that's why an encoder is needed...
