Hi

Is there an external mixer with the same loop functions as atomixmp3 available on the market? Not with loops of 2 beats cos that's not always that usefull, but I mean 4 and 8 beats? Probably very expensive but I just want to know

I aint ever seen a mixer with looping at all...
that isnt wat a mixer is for......

So you can't loop with a mixer or even a turntable? Only with a special program? I was just curious cos I read on a interview with Richie Hawtin that he uses loops but not with the FinalScratch system, with something external.

i believe he (and josh wink, among other DJs) use redsounds loop solution. it's a little box about the size of.. hmm.. 4 packs of cigs... i saw wink use it once, worked pretty nice.. forget what its called though.

the closest thing to loops you will find on a mixer is a sampler, like the one included in the pioneer DJM600.
