if you are going to be using two sound card and a mixer, its definatly better to get one with EQs (bass, mid, high) controllers. although atomix has got them built in, i feel its better to use the external mixers EQ. but if you are short on cash just make sure it has a gain contoller. but the Stanton pro-30 looks good (http://img.musiciansfriend.com/dbase/pics/products/80/800168.jpg)

If you`re goin to mount your dj system in a pro case, the best choices from 19" rack mixers are : Stanton RM-80, and RM-100 or a Tascan X-15. If you decide to purchase a compact mixer, i hint you : Behringer VMX-200, VMX 300. I personaly prefer mixers with input led`s to mach the volume from each channel. If you care about higher quality for your mp3 files, you also shoud buy an a pro equalizer. I don`t like mixer`s equalizers.
