Topic: Question : How do I make the crossfading (using automix) go slower?

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I read the documentation, yet it still isn't clear to me. I don't mean making the median postion longer - I know how to do that.

When I press the automix button, I want it to move slower so the crossfade sounds more natural. Does anyone know what I mean? I've played around with the full/smooth/cut setting also, this isnt exactly what im looking for. I want that crossfader to move slower so it sounds like a more natural fade-in and fade-out.

Thanks
Jason

Well the only setting that would effect that speed is AutoMix length... but it seems to keep the same speed and just keeps both tracks together longer.... so the fade stays the same but the time when the fader is centered is prolonged...
I recommend fading manually... it's the smoothes and best controlled fade you can get with Atomix..

You cannot control the speed of the crossfading in automix mode.
