I have a Sound Blaster Live Value for A and a VIA AC'97 onboard audio as B. After like 10-15 mins sometimes all i will hear are sharp screams. This happens about 15% of the time when i open up atomix for the first time. I just reinstalled, so everything in the system is clean. Any ideas?

if the 'screams' are the same samples that atomix has loaded by default to function keys, it might be that something is causing those keys to trigger, dunno?
