Mixing sounds fine, don't know about the choice of music though ;0) Techno has never been my thing, I get headaches quite easily. Try some house, man. House is cool. Hard House is better.
Keep it up, practice is the key. (Unless you are me, in which case no amount of practice will ever help :0( I be cursed man.)
