Topic: AtomixMP3 = Very Stable...

This topic is old and might contain outdated or incorrect information.

I was the DJ at my sisters 21st about a month ago, I thought I had every song but I was wrong. One of my friends bought a CD along and I ended up ripping & encoding it all while Atomix was pumping out the music, it didn't even skip...

I was pretty impressed that it actually worked too, and if your wondering my system isn't a BEAST, it's only a:
C500 @ 625
128MB ram
25Gig
Win98

So there you have it, you can just about fulfill requests if people give you the CD's....

What is the name of your encoder please. Because with mine I need two computers, or to prioritize the process. I am under NT5.

I use Cool Edit 2000, its actually a MP3 plugin, BEST quality I've ever seen because you can enter what the cut off frequency is.... (eg, 16004 KHz)
