I'm running latest 2025 update on my new and older laptops, Two are win 11, the other is windows 10 with paid extra year. I'm using Hercules 4mx, Hercules rm2, Pioneer ddjsx2, al new wires cables, everything tweaked, all updated, I am an advanced user. I have Virtual dj 7, Serato, Djaypro installed on 3.
Asus, Hp, Dell, Newest is Vivobook k6602 i9 pc, recently purchased because other two crashed.
I can't get 2025 stable, I'm in the middle of a mix, I lose control of a platter, speeds up like a 78. Tonight, I'm using my Pioneer ddjsx2 and it crashed, froze me pc . I hit a stems vocal cut. My laptop is a beastm it can handle it.
Serato does not crash on all my laptops, as well as Djaypro. 2025 crashes on all three laptops, not matter my controller. Virtual dj 7.4 works perfectly on all three.
I've tried usb powered drives, external hd, separated music folders for each software.
It just crashed again, I'm running out of options as to try. Like I said everything has been tweaked per your forum, new cables, laptop. I'm going to buy a new controller the beginning of the year, Rane, i'm just getting burned out of it crashing. Any help please.
