Now that Serato is trying to take over with supporting Spotify and Apple Music, will Virtual DJ join the "party" and allow us to use other music streaming platforms other than Tidal?

Please take a read of these two pages to understand why what you said is an incorrect assumption (VirtualDJ not only supports multiple catalogues, but possibly supports the most and the most types, including Karaoke):

Wrt to Spotify and Apple Music, it's most likely when those platforms allow them to sit at the table.
(Streaming offerings are not wholy controlled by Atomix, the service provider has to allow you to use it too. Also, remember Spotify was already offered in the software before, so it's clearly not a developer inability in that case).
