I'm thinking about investing in a 16x16 button grid controller. Is there any way to make the Slicer have 16 Pads instead of 8?
I found the pad editor and the Slicer.xml file, and either way, just setting up new boxes doesn't extend the functionality to them.

not with the plugin as is.
Annoyingly I made a position plugin [win only] and I struggled for ages, and then I figured it out and it seemed straight forward like I couldn't forget how, so like an idiot I changed it. And now I can't remember how.

I'll be looking to use this in live performance on a MacBook!
I have some programming background, but looking at the developer page and starting a plugin from scratch with no direction looked daunting. Porting some existing code to another operating system would be preferable.
Is there any chance you could find that old code? Or at least point me in the right direction with some pseudocode or other open-source code demonstrating the idea.
I got my 8x8 grid working as a step sequencer, and it absolutely cooks. Having double the granularity would be premium.
