When I switch on my Virtual DJ for Karaoke, I can see the DJ decks on the main tv as well as on my laptop. I only need to see the karaoke lyrics on the main TV.

because you've cloned your screen and not set it as an extended desktop.

If you're running Windows, hit Windows+P and select "Extend" on the right side of the screen.
