browsed_file_prepare_stems will only execute if the file doesn't already have prepared stems. In the case where you wish to recompute the stems for a track, if for example you have edited an audio file and now need to recreate the stems browsed_file_prepare_stems won't recompute an existing file.
Alternatively providing a new verb such as browsed_file_delete_stems would fit my use case as I could delete the stems and then recreate them.
