VDJ 2024 with Pioneer DDJ-1000
I noticed that my Deck 1 backspin is much slower than the rest of the decks.
My JOG ADJUST is set to its lightest setting on both physical decks.
Do backspin on Deck 1, the track slides back barely over 1 bar (5-6 beats) - and the track sounds like it's played backward at pretty much the same speed - no desired backspin effect.
Switch to Deck 3
applying the same force to the backspin on Deck 3 (same physical platter), the track accelerates much faster and slides back 4+ bars producing the desired effect.
Decks 2, 3, 4 behave exactly the same way, which should rule out a hardware reason for the difference, because Deck 1 and 3 share the same hardware.
Is there a VDJ or Controller setting specifically for Deck 1 that would cause this?

Found the answer: `vinylMode` was set "Per Decks" and disabled for Deck 1.
Next is to find out what changed the setting to that from the default
