Well, i have a concurrent problem that beyond 4 hours and some minutes, vdj stop recording audio and i need to manually stop and start the recording.
This take me to losing a lot of complete sessions because i forgot to re-record every 4 hours... there is a solution on this ?

.Wav has a hard limit @4 GB that can't be avoided, why are you recording in wav? Why not .flac

nice info right there, switching to flac, without doubt.
i'm using wav because the no-compression and using on video editing, but... needs must.

Note that even with wav the recording is not supposed to stop, but should have continued automatically with a second file.

Nope, that's not happening, only cuts there around 4 gb and the rest is lost.

Are you recording at 24 bit? I ask as you should get more than 4 hours at CD quality.

Yes, sometimes goes up to 4:30 hs but sometimes cut earlier.
The point is that the record stops abruptly without noticing, no problem in using FLAC anyway.
Suggesting at least give a warning info or some message, or check it out the second file recording which is not working ( not at least to me )
