Hi everyone, quite new to VDJ and I'm trying to figure something out.
Hoping someone on here may be able to help.
I was playing with the automix features, which are great (really handy to have).
One thing I couldn't figure out was how to change the starting position of the crossfader when automixing. I wondered if there's a way to start a mix with the crossfader central so the cued track is not fading in but then the live track starts to fade out.
I've seen something about vdj script and not sure if this is the way I would achieve this?
Or if it's even possible, but any help is much appreciated.
Thanks

You might check https://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Crossfader+Curve.html

If you look in the automix options (click the small radio dot at top corner in the automix sideview), and look under automix type
You can then choose an automix type you prefer. In your case, "fade out, cut in" might be something you like
