Please could someone help me. I'm currently doing a karaoke gig. The videos are playing on the TV connected up with an Hdmi cable from my laptop into the socket on the wall but at the moment everyone can see everything I'm doing. Is there anyway they can just see the Karaoke videos?

If you're outputting already then it's detected, just set as extended desktop.

Did you try clicking the master video box? Where you can see the video double click it and should come up in a separate window

This illustrates the necessity to thoroughly test and practice video settings before going out on a gig. Buy a small ONN 24" TV from Walmart and practice plugging into it and setting your Windows settings for "Extended" vs. "Duplicate" screen mode. Once you are in "Extended" mode, just double click on the video preview window in VDJ. Or you can right click on the preview window and select the external moniltor. You can also get a small HDMI DA and now that 24" monitor can be used by the singer.
