ido I detect some reticence in providing information on how to do the above? I have searched the forum and have found 3 likely candidates, all of which have disappeared from the downloads library, which is extremely annoying...
Here's what i want it for - perhaps you want to or can help - i have one of these scrolling displays which i use on the road for 'TAXI for Fred' type messages - what i want todo is use it for song title and artist when i'm in the mix so to speak - i have an app on the pc which polls a text file for the messages - which is why i would like the info in that form - i'm not a programmer, but i know that this has been done and it just keeps 'vanishing' :s

keeps your history, if you can't use that then yes I've made similar stuff for RDS that can write and clear a single line .txt file at specific times.
