Forum: VirtualDJ Technical Support

Topic: Mac LIVE tech support
Hello,

I’m seeking tech support from a Virtual DJ rep. My Virtual DJ is not firing at all. It opens…then the screen hangs up. Can’t click anything. Can’t move anything.

Thanks

Build:
MacBook Pro 14in 2023
M2 Pro
Memory: 32GB
OS: Ventura 13.6

Change the filename to anything? Did I do something to cause this?

I’m at the Apple store right now running diagnostics.

first point of problem solving is easiest thing first.

Don't know, but it's not a widely reported problem so it probably something local to your machine.

Thanks for responding to me.

The folks at Apple found the issue on my macbook. Linked below for anyone trying to figure out why their Virtual DJ application is freezing, black screen, buttons disabled, non-responsive from launch:

Running VirtualDJ in Rosetta is really not necessary, so Apple's "solution" is not exactly a solution.
Not sure if Stems will work in Rosetta either.

I asked for hands-on support in this forum, and didn’t get it. I’m gonna have to roll with the solution that got my application back to an operational state until someone presents a better option.

You won't get official support in this forum, this is all user-to-user help. If you want an official reply go to the support section, help center, and contact support.
