Recently I discovered DJ Studio https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PioIGP5nVww) and few ideas came to my mind.
It would be nice to combine powers of VirtualDJ with possibilities available in DAWs
1) Recording transitions as VDJscript / visual automation between 2 specific songs
2) Automix editor with more complex transitions (using loops, stems, filters, effects, increasing/decreasing BPM)
Some of that can be already achieved with actions assigned to custom buttons or "Action" points in POI editor, but without any visual support.
