I think i know what does it ..if you change recording output to say mp3,then come back later and forget and open the recording window (still st for mp3) but realise this and change it to mp4 while the window with tittle of new file to be recorded is open...i think we need to select the format first?...still..i dont see why it wont reset before actually starting the recording..

and my audio setup? standard for the numark NV...PC is an Alienware 18 but running at 32 bits,tho is supposed to be 64...?
