Maybe I am missing something, but I noticed that sometimes tracks don't auto beat match when I turn on automix. I have to go in and move the track around and then it becomes an option? I don't know if this makes any sense.

It's the smart mix type setting that chooses when to beatmatch. It only does it when the bpms are not too far apartt, to not create crazy transitions
