In the past I would simply use a 3rd party program to do some bulk changes to clean up my files. For instance I wanted to standardize "feat." in all my tags. Problem is when you do it with an outside tagger it will treat the song as new in the system and lose things like cuepoints and play history.
So it would be nice for VDJ allow you some refinement like looking at only specific tags to change. Maybe it's a typical CMD+F / CTRL+F keyboard shortcut, or maybe for some added protections on the find window additional "Find and Replace" option.

Unify the tags then batch rename from tags in the editor.
