I'm replacing the second hard drive winch was close to capacity

you're using a build of the software that's 3 years old, has had MANY updates, fixes, improvements in performance and added features... and you're surprised you have issues with it???

turn on updates in Options, install the current public build, fully disable stems if your computer can't handle it, and turn off and disable all the unhelpful Dell 'assistant' built in bloatware. size of the hard drive has just about nothing to do with it and in any case is easily solved by using an external and then using VirtualDJ's file management to copy, move, and organize files
