Combine hot cue and saved-triggered loops. On Pioneer controllers when a loop is active and you hit an empty hot cue it saves and triggers the loop from the start of the loop. It's very quick way to enable and trigger a loop in live situation.
Using the POI or going to saved loops, then click ctrl-slot takes a lot more time and if you want to use a regular hotcue again you need to go back to the hot-cue pad page.

I'm guess you are asking to replicate Rekordbox behaviour.
I think having saved loops in the Hotcue page is already doable - in the POI editor you just assign saved loop a cue slot and it will show up there.
Being able to toggle whether or not the loop is active, without actually jumping to it, however, isn't doable from the Hotcue pad page - you'll have to go to the Saved Loop pad page to get that functionality (and I think this is how Serato works too).
