It's been a few years now that occasionally the error of playing in Virtual DJ happens and out of nowhere the music starts playing in reverse, only to stop after I close and open the Program. does anyone have any suggestions?

VirtualDJ has an action that does exactly that. Changes playback direction to reverse.
Are you sure you're not using it, even by mistake ?
On many controllers it's usually mapped as SHIFT+SLIP (but not on modern Pioneers where SHIFT+SLIP is usually Vinyl Mode)
Anyway, perhaps let us know which controller you use ?

Reverse was not activated accidentally, because even if that were the case, I would have been able to pause or stop it, when the error of playing backwards occurs, the music does not stop going backwards, just closing and opening it again, but doing this at an event or party is a disaster if you don't have other spare equipment.
