Topic: Virtual DJ with Devon Prime 4 volume is soft
I notice when I use my Denon prime 4 with Virtual DJ the volume is much softer. Is there anything I can do to raise the volume?

The volume from where? The signal from the main XLR outputs shouldn't be any different to other controllers or audio interfaces.

If you're referring to the recording level, then yes it's very low - but that's entirely down to Denon who designed it that way. This also affects the level which goes to broadcasts.

Look at your zerodb setting in VDJ

Thanks for the reply. For example If I run the Denon alone ( no computer ) If I set the volume to say 2 it's very loud. If I go to 3 it increases a lot. If I use the computer and virtual DJ it's about 40% softer so I need to be at about 4 to equal running it alone.

The main issue this causes is using my mic. I tend to get a lot of feedback because I need it to be so high.

Considering just moving to a different board, any suggestions on a board that works well with VDJ?
