Topic: Rand Seventy Two Mk2 custom pad pages?
The official manual for the Rane Seventy Two Mk2 saysvthat custom pad pages are supported, but describes the requirement of using Serato to allow midi mapping.

Does VirtualDJ support the MIDI mapping custom pad pages feature at all?

I ask because I am going to be using one soon, I have a couple custom pad pages I normally use, and it seems like this midi mapping is giving another layer of potential pad pages, through shift, rather than having to replace pads of the default two layers.

So I did read the manual, and I (please understand that I mean this in a polite way) think you might have misunderstood what I was asking.

The VirtualDJ manual is describing how to replace the existing pads of the default two layers (10 total) to something custom.

The Rane hardware manual is describing additional custom pad modes (beyond the 10 accessible from single and double click of mode buttons), accessed using shift + Pitch Play/Roll/Sampler and mappable from with Serato (see page 20 of Rane's hardware manual for the product).
I'm asking if VirtualDJ supports this or not.

Apparently there is...I'm not sure if it is accessible from virtualdj, but it would be helpful if it is.

They are accessible, but not directly right now.
Anyway, they will be added to official mapper shortly.

Thank you for confirming that and your quick work on this.
