Topic: 1 of 16/32 option for BPM editor
I work on the 16 grid about as much as the 4.
Having songs be misaligned due to inconsistent section length (deadmau5 - Moar Ghosts, for instance) trips me up and I would be fine with manually realigning them with the BPM Editor if that was possible.

I don't understand what you're asking for, but it is possible to mark a beat at the BPM editor and set it as the "first" beat of the section that follows after it.
If that's what you're after take a look at the VirtualDJ manual to see how to do it with BPM Editor.

That functionality (called 1 of 4) only resets the 4 grid.
That is if you're counting beats, you could count:
[1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, (Marker) 1, 2, 3, 4]

Resetting a count higher than that is not possible.
[1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, (Marker)] doesn't make the next beat 1, it remains 9 because that's already aligned with the 4 grid.
When you zoom out, the downbeat (colored) beat grid markers will be out of sync.

I have my own plugin for this, my case is this
I have plugins that change shaders on the 8 16 or 32, if the tracks has a 4 beat rest [over run to the usual] it throws everything off after the rest
so my thing adds 32 beat anchors over the period of the rest, so when the music returns the numbers line up on the correct boundaries.
