Hello, I am using VDJ 2021 Mac build 7183.1915 and I have a question around MP3 Tag version:
What MP3 tag version does VDJ read?
I am using ID3v2.3 with my tag editor (MusicBee on Windows 11) and tags are read okay in Windows Explorer. However, they are not read properly in VDJ for Mac.

VDJ only reads the tags you see in the edit tag window within VDJ
if you are including tags not there they will not be read
also you will need to manually reload tags on files you have edited

Thanks for your response. The tag that is not being read properly is 'Artist', which is one of the tags that appear in the VDJ editor.
I have changed the tag in Windows and reloaded the file in VDJ and the tag 'Artist' is not read with the new value even when reloading the tags.
As an example, here is being read for one file:
Windows Explorer: LYZZA; La Zowi;
MusicBee: LYZZA & La Zowi
VDJ for Mac: LYZZA
So in VDJ only the first artist is being read. My suspicion is that VDJ may only read the first artist. Howevver, I would like to understand the mechanics and also see if there is any way around it so that I can pick all the artists when searching and using the files in VDJ:

my experience has been VDJ only reads the first if you have multiple entries for a tag
would be best to include both artists in a single artist tag separate with a comma or use & between them
