VDJ it's time for a new default skin
I love the software but the design of the skin is not appealing and DJ friendly.
Alot of things arent necessary & can be removed especially in the pro & performance options.
Title, BPM, Time etc needs to be bigger to be easily read
Also when a controller is connected some things should go away on the skin.
for example the pitch slider, play stop eject
its time for a simple cleaner up to date looking skin

If you dont like the default one you could always try to create your own skin or collab with someone that is really good at it already ;)

I get what you're saying and have made many changes to the default skin myself for things I don't need to see, and biggering things I need to see.
the thing is, even the default pro skins have to be accessible to those who don't really know the program, so the layout team sort of had to leave a bit of the spoon feeding in,
plus there's the aesthetics, the stock skins are made to make an initial impression, whilst oversized bpm display is perfectly reasonable to want once you're happy to put that before everything else, the design has to be a middle ground.
despite my minor changes I still think pro & performance skins are really good work.
if you want something customising send me a pm, but I'm not up for doing a whole new design.
