I don't know why this option of just hovering with your mouse over the fade area till it's green and then just move it to your desired point was removed, but my god please bring it back, it was way more convenient than any other option it has right now. There is no way in hell that opening the mixer editor and figuring out each song is more convenient to anyone in this entire universe.

You can right-click the area, this will pop-up the POI editor with the correct point selected, you can then simply drag it as before.

sorry, not good enough. the previous option was way better since it didn't involve any other clicks except dragging the thing.
