Is there an icon on tracks to let us know that there is swearing/cursing, or is there a way of VDJ notifying that there is bad language on a track?

You can always tag a track yourself as inappropriate and then use a color filter to mark the red, or magenta, or any funky color you may like...
For instance you can use the "User2" field and type #Explicit on any track you think it has inappropriate language.
Then you can create a color filter to mark all tracks that have hashtag #Explicit on User2 field as red
