I have the most recent update of VDJ and continue to have very distorted recordings of all of my mixes. The sound is over-modulated and when two songs are mixed together, it is even worse. Splatter, splatter, splatter.
I have tried every adjustment and every setting change possible but, no luck on correcting this issue.
All other music that was not recorded in VDJ sounds great. I go from controller straight to laptop via USB so no dual sound cards.
Does anyone have any recommendations or solutions.
My controller is a Pioneer DDJ-SX1 but I also use the 3.

how is autogain set?
do you use internal or external mixer?

Auto gain is selected.

No internal or external mixer is being used, only the controller.

Try setting zerodb in options to -6

Will do and will post how it goes. I do remember seeing an adjust for recording levels but don’t remember how I got to it. It was a lot of right-clicking and I found it. Not sure if it was a VDJ setting or Windows.
