Hi there.

I am tasked with asking what is the legal department's e-mail for Virtual DJ.

Reason being: I work for someone who needs clarification on what are the user terms regarding usage of your software when using it for profit while using licensed music (which is not part of your online library)
It is clear to me that Virtual DJ is only a software to mix music with, but many users where I am are using the argument that since they pay the license for virtual DJ they are exempt from paying the rights holders for the music they play (be it bars, restaurants etc.)

You could provide me with the contact information via PM.

most of the time it's down to the venue to pay performing rights. not the dj.
the laws vary region to region but
vdj nor atomix has no part in paying mechanicals or any other royalties for off line music.
online tracks royalties are paid, but even then it doesn't negate the requirements of performing rights licencing.
you'd be better off looking up the performing rights laws in your region.
As you said vdj is just a player, royalties are a separate issue entirely.

Every bar/venue owner should know about the special license to play music in the establishments. It is taught during their business license courses.
It isn’t up to the dj to sort that legal stuff out. Especially when the establishment probably isn’t even paying the dj their rightful price.
