So my software auto-updated (never again) and it killed my Traktor X1, when in the previous version had it totally plug and play. Whatever I remapped it no big deal.
But I also noticed that flipping doubles is gone out of the effect list.

Mapping is not lost at update no .. ;-)
Does the controller not show up, and of you had a custom mapper it should be in the drop down in the mapper settings.
Depending on how old the version was before update, it can be that the new version is 64-bit.
And your old version was 32-bit. If so, some effects might need to be updated, look in Extension tab in the software settings, and add the effect again (some effects might also not be available in 64-bit, but Flipping Double is, its native part of the software, but might be needed to just click "add")
("only" thing that might appear as lost all your stuff, is when logging into a different mac/Windows user account at your computer, since these things are stored locally in the current OS users documents folder)
