my virtual dj stopped working with my ddj-sx. press play and just an overload sound comes from my speakers, no music.

Usually means the sound settings are wrong.. .
OR - that the sound card is already in use, usually by Windows itself.
Check if the SX sound settings are correct and make sure the sound card is not already being used
