Topic: Mixamo character used in Resolume Avenue

Rather than paying a fortune for some elses VJ clips, I decided to have a go at putting something together myself.

Inspired by Rune's superhero dancer clips, I did some research...

The animated character is from Mixamo, then imported to Blender (3D animation software) and saved as video with transparent background. Video then loaded into Resolume Avenue and placed over a suitable background. I then used Adobe Premiere Pro to add the audio (with compression and a little distortion for grit) and fade in/out.

Rather than paying a fortune for Resolume + Premiere why not VDJ stand alone? >:-}
Once saved as a video Pearl dancing can be used live in VDJ as a sample on top of playing suitable background (video image audio mix videoskin fx ...)
then recording Master is trivial

The goal was to have a few dancing characters as overlays. In this example I used Resolume.

I am fully aware that I can use clips like this (at a basic level) in VDJ, but I know how to use VDJ. I was learning how to use Mixamo, Blender, Resolume etc.
