Ever since the update to 2021 I seem to be having issues, disabled stems. Still. Seems to lag and sometimes when loading I hear a delay. Also pads are not plug and play like they were prior. Is there any way I could get virtual dj 8 again to try out. I usually just do blends and effects. When I press effect 2 on controller it just changes the effect 1. Same for 3, it also just changes 1.

For the effects, it sounds like you somehow are in 1 FX mode. If you are using the Pro skin or a skin with more than 1 effect slot, and its still in 1 fx mode, open settings, and set skin3FxLayout to "yes"
Other than that, should work as fast and easy on your compute as before if you set precomputeStems to "only use precomputed" in the settings. Effectively "turns off" stems, and let you have stems on only songs you choose to use for, and can generate these prior to you mixing (at right-click in browser)
Also if you are not ready for new looks (if you came from VirtualDJ 8), you can also just choose the skin "OLD" in settings, and all looks and feels as before.
Should you still want to use older version, then here are available installers :
VirtualDJ 2020 (pre stems release):

Older than that serves no purpose, doubt it will make any difference (only be worse, since 2020 has lots of important improvements and fixes)
