Hi there,

are the predefined "Mix Fx" functions customizable? Where are they stored?

Thank you...

Not sure what you mean by that..

Edit : misread as mic effect. Mix effects are a few selected ones for crossfader, they can not be customized (just as color fx cant)

From the VDJ manual:

MIX FX (Starter & Essentials Layouts). Mix FX provide an easy to use alternative to traditional effects. Simply sliding the crossfader from one deck to the other will automatically add an effect which will assist in blending the 2 decks together seamlessly.

Clicking on the Mix FX button will provide a menu of available effects that are automatically activated every time the crossfader is moved. Select from None (for the feature to remain off), Filter, Echo, Reverb, Loop Roll, or Noise.

mixfx, fx applying during crossfader action like an audio transition plugin

Some time ago existing effects were possibly been used as mixfx
but as they were not designed for initially or specifically created to be mixfx
they were needed to be specified manually and result was undefined
it look like this was removed feature

first button only was used and there was no access to gui to set any parameter

for developers:
SDK now integrates "undocumented" features to create some, but more info is needed

Can not customize those effects.
They are not standard effects, but made to work on the crossfader during transition (meant initially at least as a bit of "ease of use" for starters, and is not there in default Pro and Performance layouts)

Can of course use traditional effects, manually, during the mix. And have full control that way ;-)

Could a "traditional" effect be made to change one or more of its parameters when the crossfader is moved (so that it works like a MixFX)?
