Hi fellow music lovers,
i had an issue on my new installed laptop that virtual dj does no longer start. i bought another one ( not for that reason but it helps). after initial windows configuration i could start virtual dj. after a reboot no more. k think the culprit it either my new Norton 365 AV or the fact that i use OneDrive which stores everything online ( well almost.)
i did use a debugger to check whether i could catch the issue. what i got was the message that virtual dj is already running. i got that in windows also after a lot of starting the application. this is a problem as i can no longer dj. the fact that it did work ( an hour ago and after the reboot no more) shows that it is something in windows or something like that.
anyone gotten across this as well?

I would close down your laptop completely , then restart

i removed the settings.xml from the folder in my documents and virtualdj started fine, without my settings of course. .
i have checked the file for strange things but could not find anything, i think.
anyway the problem is gone.
